I was recently clued in that an Ecuadorian restaurant existed and that it was near me. Finally checked it out and jackpot! This place is a hidden mom and pop gem making some great and delicious Ecuadorian food. I've been several times now and they have not missed yet on anything I've tried. From the empanadas, the bolon de verde, the churrasco, the chaufa, all were a smash. The place is no frills and will look like a hole in the wall, but aren't those places always the best? Services is always good but be prepared for it to be packed on a Sunday. 10/10 would recommend!

Delicious authentic Ecuadorian food! The staff is very friendly & happy to make food recommendations. Service is fairly quick considering how busy they are! Ambiance is casual and family friendly.

This was a recommendation from a friend originally from Ecuador for authentic food and boy was she right! The wait staff was patient and explained the options and how they were served! And the food arrived super fast fresh and hot and most of all delicious!!!! The empanada was cheesy and I don't recall the name of it but in the table is a type of chutney slightly sweet spicey and full of flavor! Hubby has what was a fish stew and gobbled it up! I had the steak (skirt) with lentils very flavorful tostones and salad. We will definitely return! The place is clean sorta spacious and we learned you seat yourself.

En comida ecuatoriana uno de los mejores, precio, sabor y atencion son excelentes, antes yo me inclinaba por ir donde winter pero lamentablemente sus precios lo subieron demasiado, si buscas una mejor opcion con mejores precios y con el mismo sabor nacional, sin duda aromas de mi pueblo es para ti.

El Mejor restaurante Ecuatoriano en el Charlotte. Por ahora he probado el ceviche y el encebollado los dos muy auténticos y con muy buen sabor. El lugar es pequeño y se llena por eso siempre pido para llevar. Felicidades a los dueños, cocinan muy bien!

Went there today with my wife while visiting Charlotte. It was packed at 2 pm on a Friday which is a good sign. We're from Ecuador but live in Virginia where there are no Ecuadorian restaurants at all, so we searched for an Ecuadorian restaurant on Yelp and found this one. I'm glad to say it did not disappoint. I ordered arroz con menestra y carne, and it really reminded me of home. The meat was tasty and tender. The menestra was great too and the rice was on point. The empanadas de verde were amazing and so was the jugo de naranjilla. My wife had the encebollado and she enjoyed it as well. Service was efficient and friendly. All the dishes were very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back!

This time around it was even better than the first. The Bolon mixto was very good; the tigrillo con bistec y huevos was Amazing and the encebollado was very good! Service was great and the ambiance was good.

Yes omg yesssss!!! Went in yesterday with my husband and just found this restaurant on a whim while we were in Charlotte. The food is delicious down to the broth and all the amazing flavors. I'm Puerto Rican and love to cook. Never have I ever had Ecuadorian food, and I am in love with this restaurant. The waitresses were as sweet as can be and answered every question I had. But when the food came out, omg I was in love with all the flavors dancing around in my mouth. I asked how long the restaurant had been open, and I was told a little over 3 weeks. Mind you, they were packed. They are truly a restaurant that we needed to visit. The food tastes homemade with that love. No lie, I was so happy that the flavors tasted very similar to when I cook. I was so happy about that. I had the Morocho (Morocho is a thick, sweet drink or spiced corn pudding made with morocho cracked corn) to start. I had never had it before and found it to be very good. My dinner was a churasco bistec style with white rice, fries, eggs, and salad. I also asked for a side of maduros. I usually leave at least half, and I can honestly say I ate more than 80% of my food. My husband enjoyed his chuletas with white rice, beans, salad, and sweet plantains (maduros) We have no regrets and definitely want to return. If you haven't already, go and try this restaurant. Oh, and the price was exzceptional considering the quality of the food is amazing. It's not a huge restaurant, but it is very clean and cozy.
